Coach Niko Karavolos is a strength & conditioning coach and track & field coach with 16 years of experiencedeveloping athletes from the youth level through elite and professional sport. He is the owner of Ignite Fitness, a performance-focused training facility specializing in speed, power, and long-term athletic development, and currently serves as a cross country and sprints coach at York High School. He is also the founder of multiple youth and track programs committed to building durable, high-performing athletes.
Just in the past four years, Coach Niko has trained 16 school record holders, developed 15 scholarship athletes and coached 12 club national qualifiers. Across hundreds of athletes, his training systems consistently produce average seasonal sprint-time improvements of 4–5%, a level of reliability that reflects disciplined programming and precise execution.
His coaching background spans collegiate strength & conditioning and track & field, including the development of NCAA championship qualifiers in the horizontal jumps and service as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for multiple university programs. At the high school level, he has helped rebuild sprint, relay, and middle-distance success through clear standards, structured systems, and culture-driven accountability. At the professional level worked with Olympic and professional track & field athletes.
