Coach Niko Karavolos is a highly respected Strength & Conditioning Coach and Track & Field Coach with over 13 years of experience training athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. As the owner and operator of Ignite Fitness, a premier sports performance and personal training studio, he has helped athletes build strength, speed, agility, and endurance to excel in their sports. He is also the Founder and Executive Director of Team Ignite, a youth development organization, and the Founder of Elmhurst Track & Field Club, dedicated to developing young athletes.

With extensive expertise in strength training, injury prevention, speed development, and sports performance optimization, Coach Niko has a proven track record of success. His coaching career began at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he trained NCAA championship qualifiers in horizontal jumps. He then served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Roosevelt University, working with women’s soccer, volleyball, and men’s and women’s track & field teams. In 2021, he joined York High School as the Sprints and Horizontal Jumps Coach, leading the team to their first short sprint relay qualifiers since 2013.

Beyond high school and collegiate athletes, Coach Niko has trained elite and Olympic-level track & field athletes, helping them reach peak performance. His expertise in advanced strength training techniques, explosive power development, and injury prevention strategies makes him a sought-after coach for athletes striving to compete at the highest levels. Whether training youth, high school, college, or professional athletes, Coach Niko’s programs are designed to maximize performance, enhance endurance, and build champions on and off the field.
